Kuan Yin, the female form of the Buddha of Compassion, is seated here in the pose called ‘Royal Ease’, rājalilasana. This pose is meant to convey a sense of ease with what arises and represents her enlightened activity. Her body remains firmly seated from where she can observe the flow of the human condition. Yet she is relaxed. Ease, letting be and letting go, are all ways of bringing ourselves gently into the present moment. This statue comes in five unique finishes. Statue is 13" Tall.

CARE OF THE STATUES: It is respectful to place Buddhist statues off of the ground, on a statue stand from wood, stone etc. Anything so it is not directly on the ground or the floor. These statues can reside indoors or in your garden without shelter. We recommend bringing her in when the weather is freezing and snowing.
