Chrysanthemum and Dragonflies Noren

Blossoming chrysanthemums, symbols of longevity and rejuvenation are juxtaposed with dragonflies, a traditional Japanese motif symbolizing the fleeting, ephemeral nature of life on this noren, a traditional Japanese covering for entryway or window.

The shibori (tie-dyed) motif is handcrafted using natural dyes. Since natural dyes are not colorfast, we recommend that you hand wash the noren separately in cold water.
