Dharma means "spiritual practice;" it's what we do every day to live more gracefully and to sustain a better world. American Buddhist teacher Lama Willa Miller masterfully adapts ancient Tibetan practices for contemporary readers seeking personal transformation, quoting everyone from H.H. the Dalai Lama to Bob Dylan and Oprah Winfrey. Becoming a Buddha, she explains, involves doing the physical, psychological, and spiritual work to discover one's innate wisdom. Each day of her seven-week course includes an inspiring passage, an exercise, and tips to make daily practice easier in order to live with greater intention and harmony.
Lama Willa Miller is an authorized lama in the Tibetan tradition, and has practiced for decades and completed her training under the direction of leading Tibetan lamas of the twentieth century. She teaches throughout the United States and is the founder of Natural Dharma Fellowship, a Buddhist organization that emphasizes integrating ancient wisdom with modern life. In 2011, she founded Wonderwell Mountain Refuge a Buddhist meditation retreat center in Springfield, NH.
