Within Tibetan Buddhism Tārā is regarded as the feminine counterpart of the bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara. She embodies compassion and action, and is the protectress of spiritual travel along the path to enlightenment. This small statue of Tārā stepping forwards represents her resolve to help and enlighten all beings.
Material: Lava stone sand from the sacred volcano Gunung Agung on Bali, bonded with concrete. The color is a water based eco paint suitable for outside. The finish will change slowly over time with exposure to rain and sun.
