Kapha is known to have heavy, slow, cool, oily, soft, and viscous characteristics. Ruled by the elements of earth and water, this dosha expresses calmness, smoothness, and steadiness when in balance, and sluggishness, immobility, and attachment when out of balace. Kapha is balanced by using herbs and oils that are opposite to the core qualities of the dosha.

Kapha Balancing Perfume Oil provides balance through stimulating, invigorating, and decongesting support. Safflower and coconut oils are blended with invigorating rosemary, mint, and oak with a bit of amber to balance the kapha dosha. This lightly fragranced essential oil blend is batched seasonally with freshly harvested flower buds, petals and leaves according to traditional Ayurvedic cycles of production (monthly lunar cycles) to extract the most nutritive potential. These special herbs provide support for stress and exhaustion. Beautiful, soft fragrance. Apply throughout the day to feel calm and relaxed. Roll-on applicator.

Ingredients: Carthamus Tinctorious (Safflower) Seed Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (Coconut Oil), Essential Oil Blend, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Alcohol Denat (Perfumers Alcohol)

Size: .5 oz

  • Ayurveda, the 5,000 year old holistic system of health and healing in India, is closely related to yoga. It is concerned with maintaining wellness by balancing the body through daily routine and diet. According to Ayurveda, each of us is born with a unique constitution. The five elements come together to create three basic constitutional types, called doshas – Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.

By discovering your constitutional type you can develop a holistic wellness regime tailored to your dosha. Discover your dosha by using our Dosha Imbalances Checklist.
