Small Handheld Prayer Wheel

Buddhist prayer wheels are a significant element of worship in Tibetan Buddhism, where they are known as "mani wheels". By spinning our Small Handheld Prayer Wheel, the inscribed prayer is spread out into the world. This helps to bring the user good karma while spreading the mantra's associated positive energies to other living beings.

This Tibetan prayer wheel is intricately inscribed with the compassion mantra, “Om Mani Padme Hung”, in genuine brass and copper with surrounding turquoise inlay. Brass is believed to enhance intuition while copper purifies the surroundings.

The compassion mantra, which translates to mean "Jewel in the Lotus" is a chant associated with the Buddhist god of compassion, Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara. When his mantra is recited, it calls upon his divine blessings to guide and protect us on our spiritual journey.
