Wooden 4-Faced Buddha Head

Our Wooden 4-Faced Buddha Head is carved with 4 faces depicting different emotions: joy, anger, sorrow, and contentment.

There are multiple interpretations of what a 4-face Buddha represents. Some claim that it is a representation of Phra Phrom; the Thai interpretation of the supreme Hindu god (Brahma), who has 4 faces. Others believe that the 4 faces represent the "4 Immeasurables of Buddhism": loving-kindness, (appreciative) joy, compassion, and equanimity.
