Because proper posture is key to meditation practice, we offer many alternatives to the traditionalzafuandzabuton. Some people are more comfortable practicing on a meditation bench in the traditional Japanese kneeling posture, called "seiza" position. This position is an excellent alternative for people who have difficulty meditating with their legs crossed on a meditation cushion. Our benches also work well for reading, studying, gardening, or any activity where poised, relaxed posture is essential.
