8 lbs. of all natural American grown, chemical-free cotton batting is stuffed into a muslin cover and tufted in four places to form a permanent inner cushion.

A snug-fitting zippered cover made from 100% acrylic Sunbrella® fabric is slipped over the inner cushion and tufted in the center for a finished look.

Organic Cotton
Now available with an organic cotton filling option (zabuton insert only). Organic cotton is grown using farming methods that avoid many conventional pesticides and synthetic fertilizers. This natural fiber offers a soft, breathable filling while supporting more mindful material choices.

Care
Remove the zippered cover, turn it inside out and machine wash separately in cold water, gentle cycle.
Hang to dry. Do not put it in the dryer. Cotton will shrink in the dryer.
Buckwheat hull and 100% natural cotton batting filling should not get wet.

I love the cushion and the fabric. I meditate outside on my deck when I can, and I don’t have to worry if it has recently rained and the deck is wet, I can put the cushion on the wet deck. The cushion and the bolster have really upped my meditation game and comfort!
I gravitated toward this line because I wanted something that would stand up to whatever surface I wanted to use. This Zabuton didn’t disappoint. Relatively thick and very supportive, I’m over 210 lbs and I don’t feel the floor through it.
At first I thought they had sent me the wrong thing. I tested it. I was wrong. The fabric and the cushioning are fantastic. The inner cushion is what makes a huge difference. It still gets wet and you will have to wait for it to dry but it dries quickly and completely. This will make a huge difference. Thank you so much for the excellent product.
