Garden Hotei Statue
Garden Hotei Statue
In China, Hotei is the god of good fortune and the guardian of children. His overly round shape indicates an abundance of inner wealth and a joy-filled soul. In fact, he was an actual person named Ch'i-tz'u, a 10th century Zen monk who wandered throughout China giving generously from his bottomless cloth sack he carried.

Customer Reviews
This is a really adorable Hotei. He has a joyful, well sculpted smile that is well done and not sinister like some I’ve seen. It’s got a solid but not too heavy presence. I was expecting it to be a touch larger but on a pedestal he’s just right.
this statue makes me so happy!
