See, Hear, Speak No Evil Jizo Figurines

Ward off negativity with our set of 3 See, Hear, Speak No Evil Jizo Figurines. Each of these little Jizo monk statues is performing one of the actions associated with the Japanese proverb of "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil". Jizo performing this proverb is a metaphor for maintaining purity; he is guiding us to stay on a path of honesty, integrity, and morality.

This saying, commonly portrayed as 3 monkeys, can be interpreted in different ways. Buddhists view it as an encouragement to avoid speaking, doing, or listening to (humoring) immorality - thus sparing us from its consequences.

Jizo Bodhisattva is a beloved and kind Japanese deity known as the protector of women, children, and travelers. It is he who protects and guides those between worlds to the afterlife.
