A gorgeous Trifold Portable Buddhist Shrine featuring the 28 Buddhas across 3 panels, intricately carved out of boxwood.
In Theravada Buddhism, it is believed that there were 27 Buddhas who preceded the historical Gautama Buddha. These carvings are inspired by the ancient Buddhist art found found in the Mogao Caves (Thousand Buddha Caves) in China.
The delicate craftsmanship of this portable wooden shrine is protected by its smoothed outer casing that closes in on itself so it can be used while travelling. It features golden hinges and a matching golden latch.
