Collection: Lotus Flower Collection

The lotus flower possesses powerful symbolism throughout many Indian and Asian cultures and faiths, where they've existed as a recurring image in paintings and sculptures throughout history. Throughout the Dharmic faiths, lotus iconography represents the concept of the purity attained by enlightenment as well as the concept of perseverance despite the challenges we may face.

As an aquatic plant, the lotus flower grows from the murky depths of bodies of fresh water, rising out of the inky blackness as a pristine flower. This is interpreted as a metaphor for the power of enlightenment; no matter the troubles and temptations we face in this world, the enlightened mind is able to grow and prosper while maintaining its purity.
