Hamsa Decorative Night Light

Beautifully handcrafted, this Decorative Night Light depicts the symbol hamsa in stunning detail. The placement of the bulb creates the effect that there is an aura of light emanating from the eye in the center of the palm. Hamsa symbolizes protection and good fortune.

This hamsa light is not printed; it is handcrafted using porcelain. This type of porcelain night light is a called a lithophaye, a type of artwork that is made using extremely thin sheets of porcelain molded to varying thicknesses to create a design. Lithophanes are intended to be illuminated from behind to showcase the artwork. This art form dates back to the early 19th century in Europe.

Place this stunning lithophane night light anywhere in your home to add the beauty and symbolism of hamsa, plus the practicality of additional lighting. It would make a lovely addition to a meditation space to add ambient lighting to your evening meditation sessions.
