Ironwood is interesting… dense and substantial. I am happy that there appears to be no icky finish or chemical smell.
I love this item but unfortunately one of the corners was chipped and the there was something wrong with the finish on top. I'd send it back if it wasn't so much trouble.
I bought the smallest size of these altar tables and it fit beautifully in the tiny space I had for my meditation practice. It has a beautiful finish and arrived in perfect condition.
