Budai, also known as Hotei or "The Laughing Buddha", is one of the 7 Lucky Gods of Japan. According to legend, Budai was a Chinese monk who lived in the 10th century. In modern times, he is a symbol of unwavering joy, abundance, good fortune, and positivity.
